Getting the Most of our Square Footage

We all wish we have all the money to buy a home here in the city that have enough living space. However we have to pay for square footage and it is not cheap! For people on a budget like me, we now have a choice of having enough space by living in the suburbs or staying in a smaller place in the city. If you want to enjoy the amenities and have less travel time, living in the city is the choice. If you are living in a studio or using or living room as a guest room, or a guest room doubles as your study, you don't have to live in a cramp space, the answer is multifunctional furniture and clever storage solutions.

Dining Room or Kitchen Space Savers

Because of premium real estate footage more and more people are doing away with the formal dining and kitchen furniture. A dining set that fits in the corner or for even smaller spaces the cafe dining table and benches are becoming more popular.

For a cozy eating area, the Cottage Corner Bench with Table is a great idea. The benches have small storage area under the seat.  It is available unfinished in Birch or can be finished in a variety of colors.

If you don't have separate dining areas, the Stakmore Multi-Function Table - Cherry is a good option for you.   This amazing expandable hardwood  table can be a console table perfect for the entryway or living room. You can flip the top to extend this space saving table into the perfect square game table to play board games or card games with your friends and family. When you add the additional two 16" leaves (included) this table becomes a rectangular dining table for eight people.
